I need to watch some of his highlights and see how he moves but on the surface looks good. 6’1 200 and had 71 tackles with 2 years to play. He was committed to Texas at one point and had an Alabama offer under Pete Golding.

Can already start to see a secondary next year under the tutelage of Walters with:

CB - OJ, Broxton, Portal dude (McDoom? Houston kid?) , Damari, Antoine, Mack
S - Patterson, Markeith, Jamel Johnson, 2 more portal dudes

Of course this will never happen, but it’s how you flip a room.

This is a wonderful post, not just because their is mutual interest, but the fact the kid and his agent pointed out the "monitoring of the defensive staff".

We absolutely need 3-4 QUALITY DB's from the portal.....but a competent defensive coordinator is just as important.

Tough to put blind faith in the current defensive staff.

Resumes don't even suggest they will be able to optimize, develop a kids ability and production.

Mario should also steal a familiar face at TCU to run the defense.

Probably both. Avalos is overly aggressive and rarely has the personnel to execute that scheme and continues to get burned and not adapt.

I could see Stafford hitting portal. Richard probably won’t be ready for Spring, same with Antoine. 2 of those guys in that first group shouldn’t even be here playing CB so nah, don’t think only bringing in 2 is gonna cut it.
