Got a text saying there’s mutual interest in Miami and TCU safety Jamel Johnson.
His agent has talked to Mario directly and will be “monitoring the status of the defensive staff”.
Sounds like we’d be on the short list.
Know nothing about this kid. Is he someone we would want here?Got a text saying there’s mutual interest in Miami and TCU safety Jamel Johnson.

I need to watch some of his highlights and see how he moves but on the surface looks good. 6’1 200 and had 71 tackles with 2 years to play. He was committed to Texas at one point and had an Alabama offer under Pete Golding.Know nothing about this kid. Is he someone we would want here?
Can already start to see a secondary next year under the tutelage of Walters with:Absolutely

Tough to put blind faith in the current defensive staff.Got a text saying there’s mutual interest in Miami and TCU safety Jamel Johnson.

TCU was *** cheeks on defense this year.Tough to put blind faith in the current defensive staff.
Resumes don't even suggest they will be able to optimize, develop a kids ability and production.
Mario should also steal a familiar face at TCU to run the defense.
Was it talent or scheme? lolTCU was *** cheeks on defense this year.
I’m not a fan of Avalos myself.
Didn’t watch a single snap of TCU football. Was it talent or scheme? lol
I was just messing around as it seems to be the great debate on this board.Didn’t watch a single snap of TCU football.
Probably both. Avalos is overly aggressive and rarely has the personnel to execute that scheme and continues to get burned and not adapt.
How many CBs would you guys take. I'm thinking two.
I wonder what they're expecting from Damari next year. Are they banking on him being a starter?3, minimum.
We return
OJ
Richard
Hill
Mack
Stafford
+
Ewald
Antoine
Fitzgerald?
Do ya’ll realize how ******* porous that is?
I could see Stafford hitting portal. Richard probably won’t be ready for Spring, same with Antoine. 2 of those guys in that first group shouldn’t even be here playing CB so nah, don’t think only bringing in 2 is gonna cut it.
