Secondary going from zero to hero meanwhile offense is losing weapons left and right.

Plug one hole another opens
Reality of CFB in an era of unlimited budgets, unlimited transfers, and no CBA.

Going forward it is going to be hard to maintain depth across the board. Second year players will chase bigger paydays based on high school rankings and other schools wanting another crack at a coveted player. Highly rated players potentially getting passed by a younger recruit looking for a new school where they are more guaranteed to start. Lower rated players going to non-Power 5 schools outperform and look to move up to a Power 4 school.

There will be outflow and inflow for schools like Miami. And even an Oregon...if athletes are stuck on the bench and want playing time they'll transfer...unless the money becomes so lifechanging and ludicrous they stay....which in turn creates a doom spiral where the actual starters are then underpaid and demand more.

CB1: Xavier Lucas, Diyoni Hill (after he puts on 20lbs), Jaboree Antoine
CB2: Brantley/ OJ, Jadais Richards
Nickle: Transfer, Damari Brown, Ryan Mack

FS: Transfer, Markeith
SS: Poyser, Zaquan

Not too shabby, Need a second safety and a Nickel

The top 3 would be very good at CB. With Richard hurt and unsure of his return timeline (I'm guessing mid year) I think Jaboree has a good shot at 2nd team reps if we don't add anymore outside corners.
