Did Poyser call

He had two starts as a true freshman in 2023 out of Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek High, finishing with 10 tackles and an INT, then this past season playing nickel, boundary corner and even some safety had 42 tackles, 3 INTs and four PBU. Former 3-star prospect, what is interesting here is he's from Miami originally (played youth ball at Suniland Park) and always dreamed of being a Cane.

His father's uncle (not sure what that makes him related to Geimere) Miami Hurricanes Hall of Famer Don Latimer (another uncle, Mike Latimer, also played WR for the Canes). his younger brother Amari Latimer is a top Miami target in the Class of 2026.

Dad also explained that Geimere wasn't recruited by major programs out of high school in part because he only played QB.

"Miami's his hometown, the household are Canes fans," he said. "We are just now seeing what's out there for him."

Very cool that he played for Suniland. Played basketball there is a kid. A couple of the years former cane Trent jones played in my league.

Gaby just put this

"
Originally from the Dallas area, Wilson has three years of eligibility remaining.

In 484 snaps this fall, Wilson was credited with a 71.5 run-defense grade and a 67.4 coverage grade. He did have a missed tackle percentage of 20 percent, which can be improved.

Wilson was targeted 22 times in coverage and allowed 19 catches for 201 yards and three touchdowns."
So he is a box safety based on them numbers

Would take as a backup plan at nickel. Want Jordan Scruggs first
