Former 3-star prospect, what is interesting here is he's from Miami originally (played youth ball at Suniland Park) and always dreamed of being a Cane.

His father's uncle (not sure what that makes him related to Geimere) Miami Hurricanes Hall of Famer Don Latimer (another uncle, Mike Latimer, also played WR for the Canes). his younger brother Amari Latimer is a top Miami target in the Class of 2026.

Dad also explained that Geimere wasn't recruited by major programs out of high school in part because he only played QB.

"Miami's his hometown, the household are Canes fans," he said. "We are just now seeing what's out there for him."

Very cool that he played for Suniland. Played basketball there is a kid. A couple of the years former cane Trent jones played in my league.

When Damari is 4th best cb the room is much closer to UM caliber. And it allows Jaboree and Amari the opportunity to heal from their injuries without being rushed.
