for the price of this board we all have the luxury of saying what we want...most are solid posts some or just flat horrible towards your so called TEAM.

this is a FAN site for Miami Hurricane Football...if you hate Golden or the players just leave, why continue to put yourself thru this misery every week

This is a just a few posters that continue to raise the fact that we are a bad team...they just find 100 ways of saying the same thing over and over..

Like I said we are so bad with this team and coaching staff that we have sniffed the coastal title back to back years with these players and worst staff ever...correct me if I am wrong, I am only repeating what I read.


I think some of you haters are just posters and not fans....there are plenty of great teams that you can go root for that you will not have all this hate..

I think VT is a great candidate for the posters on here hating this staff and players so much.....for the most part they win 10 games a year...have great defenses and win the acc coastal almost every year..that sounds like a team you can get behind.

Some I know like yourself and ROK and others are good posters but a FEW are just bad posters spewing the same crap.....Shannon is gone, possibly the worst Coach here in a long, Golden's weakness will not change how bad Shannon was to this program....comparing Shannon to Goldens teams are like comparing the Fins and Bucs this year...

There has been little of that on this board. More like redundant regurgitation of the same "thing." This is a fan board. That doesn't preclude criticism. But when you enjoy coming on the board to support your team and discuss all things Canes, it's disappointing to see the board inundated with the same sh*t. We get it. The coaches have failed in many respects. I don't need to read everyday in every thread the many ways -- creative or not -- to say that.

Funny thing is that anytime someone (me) tries to point out what a ****** defensive scheme Doh'rito runs and how he is incompetent, his apologists always bash the players. It seems there are two camps on this site wrt why we didn't win the coastal. One side blames the scheme that Doh'rito runs and the other side bashes the players on both sides of the ball with a little coach bashing to try and appear balanced.

When I actually defend the talent we have I'm told over and over by Doh'rito ****heads that our players suck and that's the reason they can't stop Duke from rushing for over 350 yards. So the OP might want to direct his ire towards his cohorts and himself. Anyone who is willing to defend a scheme over the players can DIAF.

Honestly, if you dislike Golden then you are not a Canes fan.

Golden didn't inherit a championship team like Coker, Jimmy or Erickson.
He inherited an absolute train wreck that quickly became a nuclear meltdown.

The Brutal truth is that Shannon left us a bottom tier football team. Golden took over a weak, undisciplined, entitled group of individuals who, with a few exceptions like Spence and Mike James, only cared about their own supposed NFL prospects.

Reminds me of when Jimmy took over the Cowboys and said to his fellow coaches, "Shiit, our Hurricane team would beat the crap out of these guys."

All Golden has done is increase his win total and talent level every year. 6 wins to 7 wins to 8-9-10 wins.
Now, finally with the NCAA cloud gone he's bringing in a top 5 recruiting class.

But he's not a game day coach.
Fuuck you he's not a game day coach. I challenge anybody to saddle up a carriage horse from Central Park and race in the Breeder's cup.

I've seen steady improvement each year.
I thought we'd go undefeated this year if everything went the way it should meaning no injuries to Morris or Duke.
When you stop laughing, consider this. We would have beaten FSU, TV and Duke with a healthy team.
That's the topic for another thread, but I'll just say this, I'd Duke doesn't get hurt he would have torn FSU up for 300+ Yards.

I agree that the boards have become a bit difficult to read with the repetitive threads on the same freaking topic. But fans will be fans, and after some of these recent losses/ defensive performances (or lack thereof), people will feed the need to vent. However, there is a sticky thread up at the top of the page that asks everyone to direct their free-for-all grandstanding threads to the Wez. I have really enjoyed this place the past couple years, and hope it continues strong for some time. Mod's, we need your help on this one.

You can be a fan and at the same time express frustrations, but a few people turn it into ugly, personal attacks. No need to viciously go after individual coaches or 19, 20, 21 year-old players. Assume what you post will be read by coaches, players, recruits and families. Too often some of this **** reads like it's posted by FSU and Gator fans or folks with a personal vendetta intent on bringing down the program.
If you're a fan, you are no doubt emotionally invested in the program. Just also try and have a life. And might be helpful if mods filtered through some of the occasional trash.
