Post-Paradise Camp Q&A

I heard Chaney is listening very intently to GA. Just a heads up. Expect them to be involved down the stretch.

Anything new on Haselwood. And even though John Dixon didn't compete, is there any new information on him as well.

Haselwood stayed for the whole weekend. Even though he stepped out of the camp early, he was still there and spent more time with Richt. He was with the players later in the night after the camp along with Zipperer and Summerrall.

With Paradise concluded and I have gone through all my notes and sources I have spoken with over the last two days. Ask away with any questions you have regarding the camp or recruiting.
Do you expect Miami to “drop” anyone else in the 2019 class?

We barely had noticed him. I saw him before the camp and his frame is good, obviously he’s still very raw as we all know. I can’t make a judgement too much on his performance, was a small sample.

That's a good sign. He's only been playing CB for a month or two so if he's not getting roasted is a good sign.

The dude is a 5 star type, and $UGA$ is heavily involved down here, with him and many others. Doesnt mean he is $EC bound, it just means dont be naive about outside influences either.

His father is the dean of discipline (or something like that) at Belen...

In your (@Geo305) opinion, what was the overall feel/reaction/feedback of the camp from the uncommitted kids? Any potential flips on the horizon besides Haselwood (it will happen) and the Louisville kid?

It’s a little early to do a mock for that class at the moment as some more prospects will emerge BUT

These are the prospects I feel off my knowledge and what I’ve been told on their recruitment, that Miami is in good standing with at this present time.

Max Johnson
Don Chaney
Marcus Rosemy
Caziah Holmes
Jalen Rivers
Marcus Dumervil
Chantz Williams
Latarie Kinsler
Timothy Smith
Jalen Carter
Fred Davis
Jayion McCluster

That is a major league list.

Carter and Smith?

Seems like we lead for every top-ranked in-state DL in the '20 class that hasn't yet committed.

Good to know.

That man said “it will happen” lol if only the rest of us had optimism like you, these threads would be less painful

Wat is ur feeling on guys that didnt attend? Stevenson and Bogle mainly. Do you think its a big deal?

I’m not looking too much into it at the moment, as this was litterally the only weekend that all of these kids could take visits somewhere. Now we’re heading into a dead period again, not exactly sure what NCAA was trying to do with this.

I think it’s pretty clear at this moment but UGA is a very serious contender for Stevenson, Tennessee is a very serious contender for Bogle. I’m more confident about Bogle in Miami’s class as of right now but still a long way to go.

My point is that Georgia and others are down here constantly trying to inject cash into South Florida's economy. We should know/expect that every top kid has been approached by them.
