Where does Ed Orgeron end up? At this point, my guess is Orgeron will be either the defensive coordinator at Miami (FL) or the head coach at UL-Lafayette. Neither position is open at the moment, but if Louisville thumps Miami (FL) in the Russell Athletic Bowl, Al Golden will have to address the Hurricanes’ defense, which has allowed 821 yards rushing and 9 rushing touchdowns in the last three games against Duke, Virginia, and Pitt. Orgeron loved his experience coaching at Miami from 1988-1992 and would stir up recruiting in Dade and Broward counties before signing day. A lot of things would have to happen for the UL-Lafayette to come open, but it’s possible. If Jimbo Fisher lands the Texas job, Florida State could hire James Franklin. Some people think Mark Hudsepth would have a chance at the Vanderbilt gig.

I'd be very surprised if it happened.

But the guy who wrote it has a lot of good sources. Interesting.

I would go ****** nuts but I doubt he goes back to a coordinator. I really believe he will take a shot somewhere to be a head coach.

I'd take ED O, but apparently he left on bad terms when he was at Miami previously......but that was 20 years ago

Between being a prolific recruiter, Orgeron actually did a great job as the interim head coach. The main issue with him is that even if we hired him, he would be a one year and done type guy.

It doesn't take a prophet to know that Teddy B is going to light up our defense. Yet, in the end Ono will return for one more year. If there was pressure to replace him. It wouldn't need to wait until after Teddy secures his 1st round overall pick the 28th. Dude has put out a **** product for 3 years. One more game with the current turds isn't going to change anything.

Ono's only hope is sitting all those seniors, and allowing AQM, and McCord to go bananas on Teddy.

Our defense will get lit up. Golden will make excuses. He will protect his best buddy.
Firing him will never happen.
