he's going to have a learning curve...he has tools...just not much experience and a nearly 50% td to int ratio.

Yup, really struggled as a true freshman. Dorian Thompson did as well, his first season with chip Kelly. For 2024 success he's not the best option, but if you want a QB you can build around for the next 3 years or so, he's the guy. It would be awesome if he would come and redshirt in 2024 but I don't see that happening.

I think you have to go with a more experienced QB and see if Moore is willing to wait his turn one year. Cristobal can't afford to have another 7-5 or worse season again and Moore doesn't have enough scalps on his wall to get named the 2024 starter.

MSU seems like a perfect scenario for him if DJU goes there. Although, us and the coaches should want him here, badly... and think there's a recruiting relationship from last year.

Think will rogers is the best fit and gives us best chance to be successful. Dude ran a mike leach offense - leach and Dawson both came from same coaching tree.

We need an experience qb who can command the offense and capitalize without turning it over and our staff needs a good - but safe option

I don't love what he put on film in an overly simplistic, QB friendly offense. With 2 very good college tailbacks and good WR talent.

True freshman or not. Give me a safer option than that. Someone proven.
