A guy like this may be the perfect depth addition that you pitch on “competing” for the starting role while you bring a more sure fire transfer like Pratt or Rogers.

We need two transfer QBs honestly.

Bring an impact transfer and then Spencer Petras to be a servicable backup.

I like Ward over Pratt. I watched Tulane today. I think Pratt is just OK. Can run. Can throw. Manages the game well, but nothing wows me.

Watching Ward against Washington. He throws the ball with such ease and his throws are on point.

Give me Ward and let's role.

A great opportunity with Washington State not having a conference to go to next year. Let's see if Ward enters the portal.

But 2020 he only played 4 games, do you not automatically get a Redshirt? I guess 2020 basically just does not exist as far as the NCAA is concerned, its not about them getting a +1... That's what I'm saying. So had he gotten a redshirt in 2019 instead of playing 5 games, he'd still have another year of eligibility.

I would imagine RS rule didn’t apply to 2020 hence why everyone received another year. But he played five games in ‘19 so he is done this year.

do we have some sort of connection with cam ward? He grew up relatively close to d’eriq king and he played at IW where Patke later coached although I don’t believe they crossed paths. Not even sure if ward would stay one more year but hey, I’m just trying to follow bread crumbs. What say you, @JustAFanHTX ?

I know cam pretty well but he’s not really from the parts of Houston D’eriq (D’eriq played for manvel but isn’t from that area he’s from the south side) and I are from. Plus he left pretty early he lived in west Columbia since about middle school BUT if cam grad transfers I can guarantee you a conversation will be had, friend.
 
Watching Dante Moore get PT for UCLA against Cal. He’s made some good throws and he’s made some bad throws. I don’t know why he’s playing unless Kelly knows he might be on the way out following the game and is letting Dante get some more film on himself for the portal. Or maybe the UCLA starter is hurt.

Not saying Miami should try to sign Moore if he jumps in the portal.
