Popo Aguire shouldn't be seeing the field at all

Common theme we have here where we scream for the backups and then they play, and then we jump on them for playing like backups

It’s a treasure to watch

Popo is gonna be a great player here sooner than later
You are right.

Mario said he has to do a better job of developing the backups. 32 is a perfect example. makes great plays, then misses an assignment that goes for a marathon length

The TD to Ott? No, he was not responsible for covering Ott. Popo was blitzing on the opposite side of where the screen went. I'm not sure who was responsible for covering Ott. Just a good play call by Cal.
Don't think you are correct. He bought on the handoff fake and jumped the hole and then was late to cover Ott out of the backfield.

Sorry there were 4 keys plays that he was utterly clueless in which resulted in 4 big plays. There were also numerous plays he completely takes himself out of the play.

1.The TD play to CAL RB out of the backfield was his man.

2.,3rd quarter 8:48 1st and 10 he gets lost again and lets CAL TE get a huge gain he's nowhere near his man.

THE FOLLOWING PLAY HE MESSSED UP AGAIN!@!!!!

3.The QB TD run to make it cal score 35 look at him being clueless

4.First CAL play after we made it 38-32 where the RB had a huge play where mesidor had a game saving hustle trip up. Key in on POPO.

There was also other plays aside from this. I've pretty much seen enough from him aside from this game and previous game where we need to recruit over this kid ASAP. Not only is he making mental mistakes he also looks physically small like a Manny player.

He's borderline unplayable at this point.
Sorry, would like to see him log more playing time.

Maybe I am wrong. He definitely bought on the handoff fake and jumped the hole. I agree with that. How do we know it wasn't Kiko's man or Powell's? They all took the bait. I don't know who to blame, but I think saying it was 100% on Popo isn't accurate.

Yeah we have sort of a weird depth chart because the 2022 class was a total wash. So now we have the 2023 class maturing and then we have portal guys but we kinda missed a bit of a bridge when he took over
