I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he was dealing with a nagging injury and just wanted to shut it down for draft prep
Nope, he said he was disussing playing with his agency. Thats like My Son disussing with me if he should marry the meth head over in the trailor park. What do you think they will tell you?

other than Restrepo walking out on his team, after he fumbled season away, why would Sam Brown not play?

Yeah love X but that Syracuse fumble was the single biggest play of the game. With the band all getting back together one last time you would think he would want to go out on a better note. but, to each their own. Wish him well, will always be one of the greatest canes WRs to lace them up

Another bowl game thread?!

I say that in a little jest because alot of plays make up the entire game, but that fumble was HUGE, and like ive posted being a competitor you would think he would want to "redeem" that, and try to make history winning an 11th game, and 3rd bowl win in last 20 ish years, but sounds like agent has him thinking playing in a bowl game is going for a 3 day hike in Amazon wilderness with no food and water.

Nerd stat preview of game.

Our defense is so weird. Like with the traditional counting stats, we rank as an above average defense on most of the advanced stats. The outlier is Pts/Eckel where we rank 103rd. Basically we give up 60+ yard TDs and allow teams to score a bunch of points once they get a first down inside our 40 yard line, at a much worse rate than nearly every other team. You can see it on all the explosive advanced stats too.

TrumpyCane still can't believe Ward is playing, testament to him as a competitor and teammate.

Disappointing to not see X in there, even for a quarter when Ward/Arroyo are playing but to each their own
