Hello Canes. I come in peace. So… I take it you all aren’t excited to play us.

Personally I would have liked a match up against an SEC team but that’s just me.. I saw Iowa St get demolished in the championship game so I’m pretty optimistic about getting a win. We likely get to watch our back up QB and that will tell us what we have going into next year

Basically 75% of the fan base is in meltdown from the disappointing end to the year. Only our QB has a reason to sit, no one else is getting drafted high enough that they need to opt out. Fan base is just being as pessimistic as possible.

Garbage... Iowa State will treat it like a super bowl and nobody will opt out and every Cane that's even thinking about leaving won't play.

Would have preferred any of the 3 9-3 SEC teams, especially Bama or Ole Miss with all of Lane's trash talking.

Well some of our fanbase wanted to bench Brock Purdy for a guy who just finished his season playing community college ball so I can sympathize with fan hysteria.

Gonna get me and my son tickets to the game, will be his first canes game albeit a bowl but still. Hopefully more guys choose to play in this bowl.

Bowl prep and the bowl game is so huge for development for young guys. We will see how the opt outs go (with DM playing, I think we see more playing than not). I’m going to be glass half full and be excited to watch. Should be able to see a lot more of the young guys like JoJo and Carr.

Jit was averaging 8 yards a carry and had to settle for a third of the carries. Legit make everything harder than it needs to be.

At full strength, we play them similar to how TTech & Kansas did winning in a close score shootout.

That’s the problem, we have actual kids that will be drafted and opt out. That used car job will still be there for Iowa State players ( after they hammer our half a team)
