While everyone (players, fans & admin) would have preferred to be in the CFP, it’s a great opportunity for our younger plays to audition for key roles next year (including Emory, JoJo, Ny Carr, Riley Williams, Lofton, Lyle, our young talent at DL & LB etc etc). Those that step up will really position themselves well for key roles next year. How players perform in this game may also dictate (in part) how many players are added in the Portal.

Winners want to win every game. Mario & the coaches will definitely want to get to 11 wins and have the team show out. Important as part of establishing a winning culture.

I think it’s a serious mistake when people around the program (YouTube content creators & fans etc) say these games are meaningless. It’s totally the wrong approach when you’re trying to establish a winning culture. Every game matters & this one will be a great opportunity for younger players to really establish themselves as central figures in next year’s plan. I hope the team gives this game their best shot.

If our starters go, then so will I.

Unless we get a surprise and a few guys play I’m taking nothing from this bowl win or lose. Just want to see some fresh/sophs get extended run to preview what’s in the future and get them some game speed vs a different jersey.
Yeah, winning or losing will mean nothing if the teams have tons of opt outs. But it's lots of extra practice and playing rime for some younger guys on a big stage

Dude, this **** game is meaningless

No reason to even pass that ball against that Iowa State D.

Run the ball, control the clock and let the porous Guidry D sit on the sidelines. Limit the chance of an embarrassing bowl game if all those other kids sit. Emory should be more than capable to hand the ball off.
