Feelings of sympathy are nonexistent on my part, friend.

The problems are 1) harping on ANY issue in multiple threads ruins otherwise perfectly good conversation, and 2) no other poster is targeted so aggressively and consistently as brock. So what is seen as an acceptable standard as applied to targeting him serves as the model for all other behavior. If we say "yeah go ahead and attack REALSTREETCane2000 for posting XYZ because he's REALSTREETCane2000 lol" then there is no ground to enforce any other expectation on anyone else. You can put him on ignore. It's that simple. It's always been that simple. But the truth is you enjoy goading him and you know he'll respond.

It has nothing to do with protecting brock. I've dinged him multiple times for derailing threads or starting unnecessary ones. You actually cover up his "insipidness" by making him look like a victim. Amazingly ineffective tactic you guys have stumbled upon. But you all seem like reasonably intelligent people, which is why I circle back to the previous conclusion: you bob for apples in the toilet because you like it. You know ignoring him isn't as fun as ****ing him off. And yet if he was ignored more often he'd either change as a poster or probably be band by now because his own underlying annoyances would be so self-evident.

Oh no... I've stood up for him, especially when people call him a Golden Slurper. My position on him has changed. He's a real buttockswipe and he has a bunch of enablers propping him up. My thread which I started, and has since been deleted, warned people that infractions are being handed out at a higher level of scrutiny than before and I got a 2nd infraction for that for starting an unnecessary thread. Bullshît.

In the last week, Broke started a Luke thread and a Future thread and I guarantee there was no infraction for starting unnecessary garbage. I think a lot of us feel that the mods act arbitrarily and inconsistently in the way they meet out justice here.

There is one common denominator in every thread that's derailed.... Brock.

He purposely injects himself in any and every conversation and always proceeds to take a hard line slurpper stance that conflicts with any rational opinion. Him gone helps this board.

Putting Broke on ignore is really pointless because he gets quoted by other posters more than anyone else on this board. So even when you have him on ignore, you really don't. I'm just saying.

He's night & day from most kids in his spot. He knows his journey is just beginning but he never forgets how blessed he is to be in his shoes. He is an amazing kid. Y'all will see.
