what is the biggest concern that has been chewed to the bone on this forum is that the dumbass AD and the apathetic BOT wouldn't fire
mandy's worthless *** even if Miami loses 100 straight or even if mandy got caught in the shower giving a reach around.

if you owned a business and you might -- i don't know , but i'm sure if you hired someone to do a job that had clear objectives and
expectations of work performance, it would not take you three years to see whether or not your employee had the skills to
do the job or achieve the goals you hired him to do or satisfied you that there was even an expectation of that happening
based on work performance and tangible improvement.

a football coach should not be paid millions of dollars for achieving clear goals and get a multi-year free ride when it is
obvious in year one to anyone with a cerebral cortex, that he has no skills and those goals will never be achieved.

coaches should get a contract with a base salary of no more than $250,000 with incentive clauses. success is easily measurable in coaching.
making big money in coaching should **** well be earned.

there is no other business where someone can stay in a job making $3 million a year and achieve nothing. its bull****.
 
Anyone else just tired? 15+ years of the same cycle of **** we've had to endure. It's draining. Being a UM football diehard fan is exhausting and honestly feels more like a chore at this point.
 
Would love to have Cristobal, but I just don't see how they put together the money to get him. Perhaps a hometown discount, but The buyout for Cristobal is $9M and Diaz is $8M. How Diaz was given more than a 3 year deal is beyond me especially for a first time head coach. That's $17M before paying Cristobal which could take $5M - $7M a year. So, your looking at $40M - $50M to bring in Cristobal.

If Diaz is fired, the President and board need to dump James.

If Miami had executed in the 1st quarter, the game would have been Miami up 21-3 looking for the knockout in the 1st half.

The bottom line this is a poorly coached team!!!!

LOVE THIS. I evaluate the football program from a business perspective and could not agree more.

If it is true Manny's buyout is 8 million, in a business sense, it is an outlandish severance for a first time head coach. The decision maker(s) who offered and agreed to include this in MD's contract should be held accountable as well.

Even Finebum (not a relative) thinks Kiffin is a much better coach than he used to be.

“He has matured and he has grown up. He’s not the same coach (as he was in first stint with USC),” Finebaum said. “From a selfish standpoint, I hope he does get the job so Lane will quit blaming me on television every time he’s on our show for me getting him fired in 2013, for a comment I made on College GameDay.

“Lane hasn’t really been asked about it yet. He was on our Saturday morning show yesterday and I was tempted to ask him and I just thought, ‘No, it’s not quite that time.’ It’s hard for me to believe he would be a serious candidate, based on what’s happened, but he should be a serious candidate. What exactly did Kiffin do that was so awful that he should be off limits? Did he date a co-ed and crash a scooter? Punch a player? Lock one in the closet? Kiffin seems to have matured as a coach. Let's see how Ole Miss performs against Alabama, Auburn, TAMU, Arkansas and LSU. Kiffin went 0-4 against these teams last season (didn't play TAMU).

His personality is his biggest flaw and his biggest strength. He's a talented play caller, but I am convinced his supporters on this board are in love with his attitude, moreso than his W/L record. His is detractors don't care for his arrogance and at-one-time immaturity.

Man, even the coach of our upcoming FCS opponent is saying Miami looked soft the last two weeks and says the coaches didn't motivate the players.

“I’ve watched the tape, I’m sure Manny (Diaz) and his staff are not real happy with where they’re at right now. Alabama, that’s the best program in the country in my opinion. But they were flying around on defense that game. The film looks a lot different Week 2 and Week 3 against App State and Michigan State. Coaching - you have to motivate these kids most of the time. They got a chance to play the top program in the country and got pushed around a little bit, then what I saw was it didn’t look the same as Week 1. That’s a natural thing, I’ve been there and done that."

FRENK??? You expect FRENK to take action regarding the football program? He has "0" interest in getting involved with athletics .. his realm is the med school .. period. That is one of the problems at UM .. Frenk.
 
Watching this clip last week my stomach dropped at the 8 second mark and knew we had a problem. This explains why we looked gas.
