PODCAST: Pitt of Despair ft. Coach Duasso

View as article
For the defense, I think the offside penalty was/is a symptom of a much bigger problem. If you're telling me were disciplined enough to not commit all those penalties then I'm willing to believe we're a better overall football team.

The offense has no excuse. That performance had nothing to do with discipline and everything to do with poor coaching and bad WR's.

Coach Jose Duasso and I react to the Clemson loss, talk what it means for the program and the season going forward, and give our thoughts how the team can get back on track vs. Pitt this weekend.

Stay off twitter and prove it in a the game

I could be wrong but is Duasso the scum who took a bag from Ufag for Marshall
Nah, but he took a bag for Jobe to go to Bama

Unless he is a really good dude & wants to be a good role model to those kids that need it, why else would a fat unathletic dude who looked like he never strapped on a helmet before in his life devote so much time? Kind of hard to teach technique when you are one shoe tying away from a heart attack. Getting those pockets stuffed to be a handler.

Miami lost badly because Clemson has not only superior talent on the field, but on the sidelines.

Dabo, OC Tony Fields, and Venables coach circles, literally, around Manny, Lashlee, and Baker. I give Lashlee a little wiggle room since he was overmatched. He still gets a ‘F’ for not having a better gameplan going in and for not (seemingly) at least trying any in-game adjustments.

No one said that. But it definitely set the tone.
It’s probably over simplistic on my part, but the offsides/near pick reminded me of the dropped go route from Morris to Dorsett to start the Notre Dame game in Chicago. We never seemed to recover from that in that game.

Comparing Duasso’s to last year on the podcast, he is more grounded and critical this year in his assessment especially with players he’s coached. He was difficult to listen to last year overly praising and reaching with assessing talent especially with his former players. Honestly his assessments of the current state of the program and opponents are accurate but lacks a deep understanding. I respect his knowledge of HS talent especially players he has been around but it stops therefor me.

You are wrong. I sponsor his 7n7 team, know his well, and that is not true. He got flack for Jobe (unwarranted), because he gave him congrats on twitter when he committed to Bama. People attacked him, forgetting that he coached Jobe since his youth football days, and somehow believed he should have written him off because he spurned Miami.
Duasso is a legend and a close friend of mine. Does a lot to help our kids down here the slander of him on here is ridiculous

Yeah you’re completely off. Like everything you just posted is off lol. Jobe wasn’t even in Miami to be “handled” his senior year. Anybody connected to high school football down here knows he’s not a scumbag.

Anybody who thinks anything about this team is elite doesn’t know what “elite” means. Have you watched the last 5 years? Have you not seen this team shlt the bed vs less talented teams? This has been as poorly coached team as any in the P5.
I completely agree with you. But the slurpers on CIS told me our Defense was elite because of their rankings. As usual, Diaz got his **** pushed in by a superior coach.
