Someone is lying to you. That old guy definitely was not calling the shots. They worked well with each other but that championship run was 100% Brady and Burrow being a perfect match

Glad this rumor is being debunked because I was about to hit up a few of my LSU buddies to confirm if this was true because I was under the impression that was all Bradys show and Emsfinger was the "sous chef" in the kitchen. Thanks for clearing the air on that. That has been going around on this board that he wasnt the one calling the plays.

My dad is from LA and went to LSU. Still have a lot of communication with his Tiger buddies down there. You will hear people say different things but Joe Brady was absolutely the mastermind behind that offense.

I would assume the Panthers dug into this and asked around. If they found out he wasn’t the play caller or came up with this offense then no way he gets that shot in Carolina. Panthers also suck, so, who knows if they even did due diligence lol.

DMoney brought fire on this podcast especially regarding potential staff and very subtlety throwing little shade on Columbus HS. Having attended Columbus decades ago Belen was considered back then a better academic school for sure and this reputation holds true today. Although if I had to send my kids to a Miami HS today it wouldn’t be a all boys school for sure.
