we all expect aqm and artie but the last few weeks has me convinced Ufomba Kamalu will take his game up a notch next year.
Also, think kirby, figs, and grace if he gets stronger will improve.

I'm hoping beau sandland shows all the promise he had...

I'd love to see Olsen beat out Williams for the starting job

I normally hate this game. More often then not.. Players have the proverbial "sophomore slump". Guys like AQM, Burns, Carter need to turn it up. Juniors such as Guys like Bush, Jenkins, A Crawford, Kirby, Hoilett, Moore, Hamilton need to be FULL GO next year!!! Tracey and McCord are coming along nicely.

As far as offensive guys-- Duke and Malcom need to get healthy. Malcom really, really struggled. They are the leaders IMO. Herb and Stacey seem to definitely be on the upswing. Gus needs to grow up and hopefully Yearby emerges.

Put me down for Grace, Figs, Burns (unseating Gunter in spring), and Edwards (I think DC gets moved back to defense this spring)

Gunter is a nice player but Burns has first round talent. If he puts it together in the spring he should be a starter.

We'll need some of these guys to really improve and become contributors

Kirby
Hoilett
Hamilton
Blue
Hope/Dortch
Moore
Kamalu

i think blue and holiett might be lost causes. they dont touch the field.

I don't see this happening.

gunter has been solid, but I think burns showed enough flashes as a true freshman, combined with his raw talent, to make a big jump. I don't think burns starting over gunter is as much an indictment of gunter as it is the realization of burns' potential. Time will tell.

either way, we will have 3 very solid corners going into next year, and there's a good chance one of the guys in that second group (elder, crawford, dortch, hope) step up and show out, probably elder.

still holding out hope for both, moreso blue. really thought that kid had some potential to give us the speed we are missing at LB

if you got points for plain looking like a baller in your unform, those in bold would be national champions...now about that whole 'getting on the field ahead of POS upper classmen' thing...

On offense I bet good scrilla that Gus Edwards is eating people after a full offseason of training.

Defense, I think we see a great Senior season from Chickillo and Deon Bush becomes a beast

I'm interested in the Bush/Jenkins combo. Jenkins was solid this year, so I will be interested to see if he elevates his game even more. As far as Bush I look forward to him being healthy and see if he can also progress between now and the bowl game and also next spring.

Besides those two, I want to see Kirby put a death grip on the MLB spot. He's a completely different level of athlete than Gaines. Hopefully he takes his mental game up.

Offensively , the QB spot no doubt is the hottest competiton on the team.

As far as players that take the next step look for,
Defense. Offense
AQM. Flowers
Burns Isadora
Kamalu. Edwards
Figs. Sandland
Kirby Waters
A.Crawford. Olsen
Bush. Lewis
Howard. Coley
McCord. Odogwu
Jenkins. Gall
Carter. Knighton
Elder. Gadbois
Grace. Dobard
Hamilton. Duke

What do they all have in common? Outside of Sandland, not a single upperclassman(until next year) in that group. That's a good amount of young talent.

i just want Al Golden to take the "next" step in 2014 into the world of being a good head coach...... then we wont have to be concerned w/ what players will take the next step.
