Dunno if he has the frame to grow into another McIntosh but, man, his video is pretty good.
Dude is cat-quick.
His visit list is more along the lines of a so-called 1 or 2 star.
It wouldn't surprise me if Butch tries to sneak him in at FIU.

Caliber of competition he went up against all the way to state title.

If Miami misses on 2017 interior Dline targets Conliffe, Mathis, and Jackson ; then we should try with Edwards or Lichtenstein.

I would prefer Miami try to flip 2017 USC Commit Jacob Lichtenstein 6-5" 240lbs Cypress Bay SDE\DT. He has the frame to easily grow into a 3 tech or 1 Tech.

Don't get me wrong I really like Jamare Edwards film, but Miami needs a big body to complement the speed rushers already committed for 2017.

Go Canes

Keep in mind I am projecting him to move inside as a 1 tech DT in Miami's 4-3 front.

Have we ever shown interest in the kid?

The previous staff did and the new staff knows he is their's for the taking.

I was surprised they had no interest before when I saw the USC commitment.

Yeah his coach even said Miami, UF and FSU had no interest in him...the coach also said that Jacob was looking to leave the state anyway.

This staff will not take a kid to fill in the numbers. If they don't believe the player can be a long term contributor they will not offer the kid and I agree with that thinking

I agree if he's not good enough but does it make you wonder why USCw would come all the way here and offer him if he's not a long term contributor?
