I don't think thst happened until he hit the line of scrimmage.

I know they never showed a replay but I had it on a stream where I could rewind it and no as soon as he got the ball and made that initial cut something was off. He froze, immediately lifted that leg then hopped forward. He was 100% behind the LOS when it happened
