the picture of Mario and Fernando Mendoza and the rest of the OL at CCHS was televised on Saturday. Mario said that Mirabal was part of the OL. Does anyone have that picture?

I've heard mario say before he was on the OL also.....which like you say, sounds crazy.

I had a chance to see Alex Mirabal in person up close after the game (not THAT close, c'mon now). I knew he was small, but COTDAM, dude is tiny. Assuming he did play OL in HS (I have no reason NOT to believe this), I can understand why he is so driven as an OL coach. Probably looks at lazy guys who are 6'5" and 330 and wants to die, knowing what he could've done with those God given traits.

Don’t let his size fool you, he is a TOUGH sob. I caught the bad side of him in class & I never crossed him again that’s for damñ sure.

Side Note: he was phenomenal History & Government Teacher.

Brother, some of the best coaches out there, have zero actual athletic ability/potential. Saban is arguably the best developer of defensive backs on the planet. A prime nick saban isn't stopping a D2 WR, let alone a SEC WR. There are countless examples

If you closely at the guy (coach?) in the middle without the football uniform, you can see Mirabal peeking out of his shirt collar.
