What exactly is the risk? It’s lower risk than signing a recruit out of HS.

Probably because he hasn’t already transferred and recently visited Maryland with his boy Josh Jackson.

But that’s me reading the tea leaves.

My opinion on that situation: i’d love for him to be here. But if not. Oh well. Everyone forgets that garvin and tarantula Rousseau are going to be a major problem for offensive tackles in the ACC this year

Former UCLA linebacker/defensive end Jaelan Phillips is transferring to Miami, he announced Thursday night on Twitter.

Don’t understand how he would be immediately eligible. That ESPN article is stating that because he used his redshirt in 2018 that it negates having to sit one year after transferring. Don’t recall such a thing existing.

Only way you don’t sit a year is grad transfer or if you get a waiver. He will have neither.

Immediate eligibility

Stop posting this. Red shirting has nothing to do with transfers. Per the NCAA rule book, barring a waiver, you must complete one year residency at your new school before on field eligibility. Nothing in there about redshirts counting towards eligibility.
