Philip Buchanon goes HAM on Golden on twitter

His opinion is somewhat diluted by the fact that Dorsey is his #2 option for head coach.

When you not only have to play a Green, Chickillo, Armbrister, Gaines, Cornelius but for have start your not stopping to many people

Also our defense was on the field more than every other team except one in the NCAA...More positions more yards...

We need a QB with football IQ, depth at RB (crawford is a warrior but not a BCS calibur RB), and front seven talent (we have some but its not mature yet ie: Figs, AQM, Grace, Kirby)
For the football illiterate you know why we don't and can't run man all day...Because not even Neon Deon can cover a receiver for over 5 seconds and that's what we have going
Just in case the football illiterate say, "let's just blitz and play man then" Yea let's do that because every other catch will be a TD smh..

Just sit back and relax people every coach takes time to get the talent he needs...O who is that the football illiterate speak again, "Its been 3 years"...NCAA cloud people, it would stop even Nick Saban at Alabama from getting players lol...Just go through our decommitment list from the past 2 years and our class this year to see what he could do without cloud

Have the coaches made mistakes , sure have, but every coach does...Nick Saban not too long ago got blew out in a bowl by the other "U" the Utah Utes.

N last thing Philip Buchanon is reverent because he is fast and can jump high, and could cover cheetah fast receivers back in the day...Not for having expansive football knowledge, so I take his comments just as serious as any other strung poster on here

LOL, that's what was generally agreed upon in the wEz as the biggest fault in his argument....that his choices for a replacement are all woefully bad.

So Golden is so bad in three years he can't recruit and develop kids better than these bums? What's that say about him? Skai Moore is the leading tackler for a top 25 South Carolina defense and badly wanted to be a Cane. Think we could've used him? Golden can't get a DE better than Shayon in 3 years? His ******* fault. This isn't his first year here.

First thing, check what I just said...NCAA Cloud will stop anyone from getting who they really want, just a quick example go check our decommitment list from the last two cycles to see what he can do

Second, I said he made mistakes (skai, taking dilliard, sticking with morris) but what coach doesn't...lol Nick Saban just missed out on Jamies Winston, im pretty sure skai moore is not fixing all our problems lol

The greater point is that he can see what many of us see - that our HC is in over his head and needs serious help.
 
Wow. Disappointed that a former player chose to disrespect Golden.
I'm with alum being upset and voicing their displeasure but as long as its done with a decorum of respect to a man that hasn't done nothing but represent the university in a positive manner amidst a sht storm.

Hope Buchanon gets banned from the U for that crap.
 
Buchanon's allegiance to the University of Miami and the football program, not some sweaty dip**** from New Jersey whose most notable contribution to this program is some *** cliche'.

I hope more players speak up and put pressure on those in charge of making decisions. Make them feel the heat. M

Players don't voice their hatred without first getting a sign of things to come. This is Golden's third year and it's an absolutely embarrassing product on the field.

It's not like he was getting ****ted on after a year, or even two. This is his third year and the team looks no better than a Randy Shannon product. Completely uninspired football.

Al is wired along the lines of if you work hard and try your best everything will turn out alright in the end. He's been attached to the hip to D'Nofrio for 20 years. He ain't cutting him loose now. The unfortunate thing is that the Nevin scandal bought Al big time goodwill from the BOT and he's here for at least 2 more years results be damned. In 2016 if we don't get better we will be having the Gruden recruits been informed discussion we had in 2010. We are no longer as desirable stop for a great coach as we once thought. Maybe we can get an up and coming killer MAC guy. Wait we did it already....

He may be 100% right. He is also 100% counterproductive putting the program on blast the last month of recruiting.

The coach. Any coach. Needs good players. ******* with the recruiting class by being a cool guy screws everyone.
 
Golden can't just change the scheme bc he doesn't know anything else. All the Parcells/belicheat coaching tree guys are absurdly arrogant, and think they know everything and everyone else is wrong.

Jimmy Johnson's "simple" scheme ****TTTS on any defense Parcells/Belichick/Saban put out. But hey, our APR is great so who cares!

Can we do the same with golden. After all he is the one that is totally responsible for the product on the field.
 
I want coach d gone. But not really a fan of this move on cookies part. Who knows what his real motivation is here... The dude is no longer in football as far as I know so don't really care about his opinion
