In November, Wake Forest found evidence that Louisville might have obtained its game plan leading up to their conference game, and now a school investigation concludes it was a former player and assistant coach who was supplying information to opponents. Tommy Elrod, who was serving as a team radio analyst, was found to have provided or tried to provide information to opponents since 2014. He's been fired and banned from Wake Forest athletics. Coach Dave Clawson said Elrod was given full access to players, film and practices, and "it's incomprehensible ... [Elrod] would betray his alma mater."

Still doesn't explain the FSU score.

CBS reporting it's been going on for 3 years so other schools must be involved. ACC has now jumped into the fray...whether it helped opponents or not isn't the point....it's cheating any way you slice it.

Might not be about money. Was an assistant under Grobe for many years, but was not retained by new coach and had to go to the broadcast booth to make a buck.

Listening to their calls is painful, but they are most certainly loyal.

As quick as some of us are to turn on coaches/players after a bad game, could you imagine our fan-base if one of them did something like this? It would not be pretty, rightfully so.

I wondered how Wake Forest found out about this. Turns out that when Wake showed up @ Papa John's for the game, they actually found a copy(or original) of the cheat sheet. They decided to not run the plays that were in the details and kept the cheat sheet as evidence. The plot thickens, but I wonder who and why did someone leave the cheat sheet lying around in plain view to be found.\

Actually it was Wake who won 6-3 in OT.

That was the game where Beamer did his infamous dance when regulation ended 0-0.

You didn't even mention the better players and player accolades.

For all of Petrinos offensive prowess and being a savant, you would think he would have coached up at least 1 Heisman caliber qb.

Chise, Jedi, and Whatthehell are the main culprits for why people think Petrino even holds a candle to Richt.

They did so much Richt(playcaller) bashing during the 4 game skid that half of their groupies actually think they can talk down on Richt in comparison with Petrino.

Which is absurd.
