He doesn't fit in this scheme as a DT. If you've noticed, our DT's are able to get to the QB and can stop the run as well as rush the passer. Slaton doesn't have that burst or mobility to be a capable DT by the looks of it. He'd have to drop near 50 lbs. to be at the ideal playing weight.

No need to waste time. The dude is 365 pounds and doesnt fit in a attacking scheme. Maybe as a 3-4 nt you give him a look.

i know some people dont care but i would feel like a bum if i had to poach kids from schools that actually care about good grades and life outside of sports... recruiting for a school with low academic standards that wasnt a known powerhouse i imagine would be like this a lot, just sitting around waiting for good football players to NOT make grades or to struggle enough where they are not sure they can do it at a school like Miami... **** Kentucky
