Gibson is nothing special. We have enough safeties like him to be honest. Miami needs to find a game changing safety. I can't remember the last time we signed a big time safety, or had one become a game changer for us. Hopefully Jaquan can be that guy for us, but the mediocre safety recruiting has to end.

Johnson was a Dade County legend. A high 4 star recruit who had 100+ offers.

i knew jj would struggle.......his speed was a big concern. me n few others called it.....i still wanted him tho but i knew he wasnt reed like people thought

His speed is a huge concern. He has great instincts and they can sometimes mask his lack of speed but other times he's just not quick enough to get where he needs to be.

I'm hoping for the best, but I don't see him ever being anything more than a solid starter here.
