As much as it truly sucks for the kid (if he's innocent), I doubt Miami takes a chance on him based on Baylor giving him the boot (according to that article I just posted) in regards to his background. A place like WVU or Louisville would take him in a heartbeat, but considering 1. We are not in dire need of a JUCO DT (finally) and 2. with the Young/AQM thing going on + probation we are about to get off I doubt Miami would take the chance on someone like this. Wish him the best either way and as long as he is cleared on a background check from Richt I'd be fine with it, I just doubt it.

Well if he's eligible this year it would really help us. We could play Willis at some DE if AQM is suspended or dismissed.

Unfortunately for the young man there is to much baggage surrounding him and Miami can not afford the distraction. Similar to how Miami passed on JC Jackson whom was a critical position of need for Miami, but Richt still passed on him. Good luck to the young man.

Best way is for him to contact Doherty or Baez. Baez is a really good guy and will get back to him asap. He was point of contact on one of my kids last year and talks to another who's a rising Soph now.

wait did I miss Paranos being hired to the staff?


anyway as far as the kid the staff seems pretty excited about the DL, it could just be interview sunshine but they seem set with the young guys
