You're right we should permaban derrick smith and his dad for not knowing how recruiting works when you're a 3 star. Commit early or get left behind. Or play games like your boy Shavar and go to juco.

It's clear as day that he's an alternate option, with the abusive hits Amari Carter (plan A) has been show casing and the prospects from 2018, there just isn't room. Some kids unfortunately just don't make the cut. This is a type of kid that will either ride the pine here or be a starter in a few years at a UCF or USF type school and end up having a solid career(same boat as Nick Roberts IMO). Best of luck, but no point in being upset about being our plan B when recruits start naming top 15 schools.
 
Are people really taking this seriously? Kid is playing the game (which is fine) so let's not start believing his dad told him blah blah blah. Dude's trying to get some traction cause he knows the score. And he didn't get it from a ******* message board.

Play around lay around... You are not owed anything.

The second you think your bigger than a FN school like Miami with its history then your getting some very bad advice and you need to question everyone around you.

Do your research early, go visit the Fn school and if you like it go home talk to your parents and if they are down then commit and consider yourself a member of that team and tell every other Fn team to F off.

And do every other interview you ever have in an Ibis hat.

we have this recruiting bravado until we lose 4 games and then we're begging this kid to come and cursing his name when he goes to UNC on signing day. Don't think that trend continues with Richt, but we're in no place from the last 9 years to be calling guys plan C, our back up CB is Michael Jackson
