I think the reports of them reaching out to AG to tell his agent they passed are to save face. he was insuring recruits he was staying, they flew to him, etc. Then they turn around and over pay Franklin. I wasnt happy how this process played out but i think he might have rejected them for the 2nd time. alot of alumni wanted him. penn st is a program with alot of pride.

I don't believe that for a second.. but what's done is done. Time for everyone to move on & support the program.

Does it really matter who turned who down at the end of the day he is still at miami

Does it really matter who turned who down at the end of the day he is still at miami

i agree but if they turned him down or didnt offer, why did they go so far to make a public leak. anyway, lets hope he gets it fixed here.

Because they are a state institution; therefore, it'd be public record?

If it was announced on the news that PSU suddenly disappeared and there's nothing there any more I wouldn't miss a beat. Next.

That was a helluva audition tape that Fat Al put together. I watched every bowl game this season, and we were, by far, the worst prepared/least motivated team I saw.
 
Wait a minute. There are people out there who think that Al turned down the penn state job? Or is this guy just trolling?

The man sacrificed our recruiting class, season and ultimately most likely his career with this stunt. No way in **** he regains any momentum whatsoever necessary to be successful here.

I actually think we were motivated. I think that we just got our asses kicked anyways. Which makes the loss all that much worse.
