I think getting Kinsler to drop the gates is indicative of how the staff feels about him. I don't think that devalues the staff's desire to sign Kirkland. Kirkland is a beast and don't get it twisted because he ain't showing the level of love you wish for.

I don’t see why’d we pass on him especially if he’s close with Bryant… I know we feel good about other prospects but he can easily be a Guard at the next level

That blob plays in the nfl....lol. Not comparable imo. Slaton wanted to play DT and he was right. Kirkland just likes the attention too much for most of our liking.

3 of the remaining targets I believe. Think it went Sampson, Alinen, Kinsler...no idea about Freeling or Kirkland and where they fit, but they weren't Top 3.

Kid wants in and will help with Bryant. Get his body right and he’ll be a nasty IOL. Mauigoa, Kirkland, Okunlola, Kinsler, and Alinen is a historical OL haul. Not sure Freeling would come with the other 3 OTs coming but I’d love him too.

If this kid helps with Bryant imo you 100% take him. It’s not he’s a slouch he’s a quality lineman. Staff may have others like Kinsler higher but I think it would be foolish to not take this kid if it truly helps with Bryant. Regardless I’m not gonna question what they end up doing though. They’ve earned a lot of trust lol
