Guess I’m just a loyal guy. Anyone that I played with that was a big recruit picked a school & stuck with it. I guess that’s just how it is where I’m from.
I mean that’s fair but same time you have to acknowledge the other side of it and it doesn’t make one right or wrong

I’m not saying it’s wrong at all. I’m just saying I personally never will be able to understand how in a weeks time someones mind can change that vastly. That’s all.

You ever had very, very little money….and then somebody offered you a ****ton of it?
Miami is also rumored to be offering him a very healthy NIL deal. Not as good as UF’s, but still a very good deal. All things considered, you’d think that being coached by a way better staff, and attending a university with a total commitment to the football program would outweigh the allure of a few more dollars in the present.

The reality is that if he isn’t developed by Billy’s staff to be the best that he can be, he stands to lose millions of dollars on draft day and beyond. We saw the same thing happen with top tier recruits under the Shannon, Golden, Richt and Diaz regimes.

Plus, it’s not guaranteed that he’ll get his payments from UF’s collective. Kids all over the country are now complaining that they’re not getting what was promised to them at places like USC and aTm. @Stevo365 talked about this in-depth last night on the CanesInSight Live podcast. He’s actually seen screenshots from players themselves talking about this very issue.

With LifeWallet, he won’t have that issue, plus his NIL opportunities will be far greater in South Florida than they could ever be in Gainesville.

Gotcha. I think it’s wild too and sometimes I think it’s just excuses from teams that “miss”

It feels eerily familiar to the Rashada situation. Just later in the recruitment. UF’s only chance at top tier guys is to drastically over pay, the word is already out on UF.

Imo like Rashada‘s recruitment this one feels like the kid wants to be here. He has a good relationship with the staff and just vibes with Sfla. But UF definitely gave him something to think about , before that it was Miami / Bama with Miami having a big lead.
I hope someone informs him that UF doesn't come through with the money that was promised.

I’m with you on this point man, but at the same time we live in an era of too many choices. Shoot it took me almost an hour last night to pick out a pair of slides online when I was in high school I went to the shoe store tried some on and was out.

Maybe Kirkland was a plan B if we didn't hit on our main targets. That kid seems to be trolling us pretty good.

Two of them.

First, Ethan White, who reported to Hogtown weighing 393 pounds. Then, Desmond Fatson, who enrolled at Hogtown weighing 440 pounds.
Hogtown

It makes me laugh every single time. As you know I am not from Florida so it just cracks me up.

I used the term on a text to my buddies. I told them it referred to Gainesville and they all said that is going in the Rolodex.
