Paul Johnson

Imagine what he would do at a FIU with all the speed in SF. He would probably steal an "athlete" or two from the big three, promising them a chance at QB.

Here is why you hate Paul Johnson: Trickle-down effect of that *******'s attitude.

Georgia Tech LB Quayshawn Nealy, after his team allowed 551 yards to Miami: "I’m not going to say they’re that much better than us."

The only thing missing from that quote is Journey's "Don't stop believin' " playing in the background.

Is a classless douche for the last 90 seconds.

**** him.

almost as classless as jimbo was today, first keeping jameis in then continuing to throw deep up 63-0

jimbo can fool his fanbase all he wants with these 63-0 slayings. not going to help him when he blows a game to a lesser team and loses to better teams, i.e. clemson, maybe florida, and i'm on the koolaid right now so i'll say us too

sucks to be a georgia tech fan right now. all hopes of a successful season (conference championship, top 2 finish in the coastal, etc.) are dashed by game 5)

I thought he was going to go "Woody Hayes" on that Jenkins interception.
Wish he did. Hate playing GT.
It's like facing a knuckleball pitcher.
Fuucks your whole team defense up, especially when you spend most of the game trying not to get your knees blown out.

Exactly. It's like going against Randy Johnson for 8 innings then Tom Candiotti comes in and throws some ridiculous bull****. Totally ***** up your rhythm and progress in many ways.

McCord unleashed 3 quarters of feeling useless on one play, but I imagine AQM and the others would've benefited from more reps.

**** you Paul Johnson. Clown. "4-0 since the 90s," yeah nevermind the 2001 and 2002 teams. ****face. **** off.

Glad I'm not alone in feeling that way about watching GT. Johnson's offense is the worse. Like playing on the blue turf at Boise. How year after year he recruits QBs that are incapable of throwing the ball defies the laws of probability.

why would a QB who can throw go to GT?

Paul Johnson was the third in a litter born to a two-breasted woman, and they bought a goat to nurse him, who kicked his face in his first two years of life. Thus that un-handsome face that looks like it was kicked thoroughly and frequently. This of course affected his psyche for the worse, thus his ****y outlook on life in general.

One of our guys gets hurt by that chop blocking? There should be one play call for this very situation. The receivers run a route to wherever that SOB is on the sideline, the QB times his throw, and the receiver - preferably a big tight end - gets to take out Coach Johnson "going for the ball."

And as the tight end gets up after busting his ribs and head, whisper, ever so softly, "Chop block us again. PLEASE chop block us again."

There are plenty of kids who can do both; Johnson just some how manages to get kids who can't throw at all.

Now that he has "his" players at Tech, it's going to be a MAJOR rebuilding project for the next head coach. Their O-Line is very small, WR's suck or are non existent and no passing QB's on the roster. It's going to take them a decade to get back to respectability when he's gone.

Last year's meeting went into overtime after we made a furious comeback. This game we trailed 17-7 and had no energy or any clue how to stop them. It was extremely fortunate they fumbled on that possession. Then it was 24-23 beyond the midway point of the fourth quarter. Given that data I don't see how a Georgia Tech player is supposed to bow down and concede that we are markedly superior.

Paul Johnson allows Georgia Tech to overachieve. If they switch to a pass happy approach with their caliber of athlete they will get buried near the bottom of the conference every season. Today they had quite a few new wrinkles and we were very fortunate on more than one occasion. Everyone around me in the stands was frustrated at our inability to stop them, and acknowledged that the score hardly represented the game. They missed a wide open receiver down the left sideline in the second quarter on a third down play that could have extended the lead.

Yeah maybe im missing something here. What did you guys expect? For him to take a kneel, sit on the ball, wave the white flag? LOL. Yeah, we see how well that worked out for Maryland. In this day in age, where things are gonna go back to the way they were in the 90s where teams were forced to hang 70 if they could in order to move up in the polls, you have to keep playing or be doomed like MD.

Poor Maryland. Didnt know what hit them when Jimbo kept heaving bombs up 49-0. LOL. You think Jimbo doesnt realize there are literally FOUR teams ahead of him that could run the table (ALA, ORE or STAN, LOU, OSU) AND a one loss GA team? Look for these kinds of "statements" to be the norm for the rest of the season by any team in the top 8.

And on another note, I think we should be ahead of USCe, OU, AND UCLA if you ask me. ESPECIALLY if FLA ends up beating LSU next week.

And finally, how great is it to be in the SEC? You can brag that you have 4 teams in the top 10 BUT only ONE is undefeated and we are not even at the mid-point of the season. LOL. Smh.

[TE=sabrose;1617626]Johnson wins a few games a year because teams arent used to his offense. Its boring ,his lineman border on dirty with their cut blocks and he screams at his players. GT needs to can this joker.[/QUOTE]

He's not going anywhere because his triple option is the only thing keeping GT competitive. They can't recruit enough quality playersto run aanything else.
