hmmm… I agree to some extent. If you rewatch many of the games, you’ll see that Cam also put himself in bad situations where he either held the ball too long or missed the open WR, SO THEN he had to improvise and use his playmaking ability. Carson Beck does a good job of hitting his WRs on first look. Beck putting anything over 3500yds and 25tds is considered success to this season. Arroyo leaving though… that one hurts. But I get it.
Yup.

Beck knows how to get the ball to RBs and TES on check downs and screens and swing passes. Also knows when to just take off and gut it out for a first down.

So in some ways our offense may be more efficient but not as explosive. Which I am fine with in most circumstances.

The offense won't be better, but that doesn't mean the team can't be better.

The 2024 Miami offense was absolute overkill. We were a freshman Jeremiah Smith away from the offense basically winning a national title even if the defense gave up a score on every drive.

If Jeremiah Smith comes to Miami I think 2024 challenges 2019 LSU for the best offense of all time.

100%. I think it can be more difficult for defenses to play Beck than it was for them to play Cam.
