Are we suppose to get excited over this? Oh I get it, it's one of those "we are at the table" situations
It's not exciting when the #1 CB prospect checks out The U by attending practice personally?
Not when the #WR 1 did the same a year ago and still bounced. Not when recruits have lived on campus prior to signing day and still signed to other schools. That type of stuff does not excite me anymore
Did u get excited when Lingard would visit? And if these conversations don't interest you, wtf are u doing spending any time here?
I am here for news on the team. Not speculation because a recruit stopped by practice. You want to get excited by that knock yourself out, just seen enough to know that it really doesn't mean much.
news
noun
newly received or noteworthy information, especially about recent or important events.
"I've got some good news for you"
Pretty sure a report about a recruit on campus qualifies as news. Nobody is speculating Surtain may visit, it was reported that he was in the midst of a visit. That's a noteworthy event in the context of a Hurricane recruiting board. That's news.
I am sorry if Panasonic Michelle or Judas Jobe or BJ Henderson or any of the others hurt you to the point that you are broken down by all of this. Truly, I feel for you. But if you can't muster up the slightest bit of courage to see this as a noteworthy and potentially positive event for recruiting, then just do yourself a favor and eat the gun. Or, for a less drastic alternative, delete your account.
