I’m sure Chaney, Knighton, and Franklin all view themselves as 1st string backs. There won’t be enough carries to go around for all of them. That’s just reality.

I’d expect Cody Brown and maybe Franklin to look around.

You also have to anticipate that some of these backs may feel slighted by the Parrish addition. His RB coach at Ole Miss is coming, too, so I’m sure there will be some trust issues at first.

Smith will have to prove he’s not playing favorites if Parrish is getting the most snaps come Spring/Fall camp.

May the best man win. Chaney is injured so this leaves us with 4 RB as of this moment. Y’all act like we got 10 RB on our depth chart.

Chaney doesn’t count till he gets back 100%. There is plenty of carries for 3-4 RB. Once we have 5 healthy RB then we can worry about stuff.

We had Knighton running 30 times a game to finish the season which is absurd. It’s ok to have depth it’s normal for most schools

I don’t disagree with you, man.

I’m just saying that we should assume we’ll lose at least one guy, maybe two.

But I trust Mario and I know Parrish is a baller, so like you said, let the best man.

Exactly man.... Do ppl not know it's actually regular for programs to have 4+ backs. Like 4 is actually considered very low.

1 possibly but 2 puts us back to 3 RB which is insane if kids can’t accept they aren’t a starter right off the bat but that’s the world we live in. 2 leave then we will bring another transfer in. I’d take citizen if he wants in and let Whoever is scared to compete walk. It’s about competition.

You see Bama go through like 5RB this year and have none left at the end. If kids can’t see that they are an injury or two away from playing and they decide to leave then it is what it is

Agreed. We have had bad depth since the Nevin crap in all spots that people don’t even know why a good balanced roster looks like anymore
