Well considering there were those decommitment rumors not too long ago it looks weird. But, he probably does have something else planned.

My guess is thats its something school related. Maybe Columbus has workouts that day or something. Or some team building exercise that day.. Its no coincidence that Bandy, Henderson and Jobe have confirmed that they will not be attending.

There could be a very plausible explanation like that. But I don't trust CJ's commitment at all.
 
Pete just explained on Twitter. Columbus has a team camp this weekend that was planned prior to this event being in place. That's why Bandy, Jobe & CJ will not be there.
 
I was just informed from a 2018 prospect that is on campus already, that 2018 Armwood 4* WR/ATH Warren Thompson will not be coming to Paradise Camp now due to 7on7. Canes still lead according to Thompson.

Bandy has been on um campus more than 5 times since he was offered at the end of May... Miami sits in a great spot with him.

2018 Apopka OL William Barnes will not be attending Paradise Camp this weekend. He is in Tennessee for a camp.

2018 Apopka CB/ATH Steven Billings-Larson Jr. will be on campus this weekend for Paradise Camp. He has been enrolled in a summer program at The U for the past few weeks. Great kid, smart as they come & humble.

Poppa Steed, I was already talking with Poppa Shaq earlier. The event is open to public, two of my buddies are coming as well. Hopefully you all meet up. One works with Battle (New football apparel company and he's around SFE a lot) and the other does recording and videos for high school games down here and Florida and works with Audible Sports.

Sadly I can't make this event, out on a double header vacation again to Orlando, was in Naples last week.


Also, this same list that Steed made. Shaq, Zach and Mike were nominated last year as well to it. Congrats to your son, and yes he is very underrated. I've said it since the beginning of this cycle when some were down on him and even on this very site cause of injury. Always been a big supporter and advocate of your son from day one. Big Senior Year Statement season coming!

Do you see him trying to join the team as a walk on with an academic scholarship? OR has the staff already offered him. I know he's like Duke Johnson with his love for the canes...
