Paradise camp commits ?

I think some of these kids don't commit right away b/c they look for a star boost by these recruiting services. It's petty, but being that everyone makes such a big deal about starred kids, including us, I can see why they play the game a bit.

Regardless, when these kids get a taste of their favorite NFL players or TV analyst, for that matter, coaching them up and schooling them about this U we live for, I'm going to bet my bottom dollar that all that negative recruiting will be out the door. We may not land all these kids that's coming, but if we win this year, we'll land several and change the perception about our beloved program.

I wanted more than 18 catches and 5 TD's from him playing for a Group I school as a Junior.
There is a considerable bump in competition in his transfer from Cedar Grove to Wayne Hills.

His play this fall will be a better indicator of talent level, IMO.

I agree with the second part, but not the first. These are young and impressionable men. They hear everything you can imagine and how great they are from some of the best salesmen on the planet. They have an opportunity to see different schools, cities, towns, and live it up on the revmcruting trail. I'd say that's a far greater reason for holding off in their commitments than some star ranking. I'd also bet a good many are legitimately torn through the entire process.
