Agree. Seemed like Barrow was more of a penetrator/passrush DT much like Cook. We recruited DT well last year, but those guys are still young pups. Horton can't stay healthy and Moten seems like a rotational JAG. Hopefully they'll move Mesidor inside to help Barrow.

Yeah I think we as fans get a little caught up looking at the DL traditionally when Guidry has shown he’s anything but traditional when he needs to be

Sure ideally you have a 330lb monster eating 3 blockers in the middle and chaos outside but Guidry dominated Notre Dame at Marshall with a bunch of 250lb DL guys. Bain moving to the inside is gonna be extremely disruptive like GR15 was, and Barrow showed some nice flashes of working his way down the LOS

Anyway…if they come to play it’s gonna be a long day for UiF

That's true. Glad we have a couple of versatile DE's (Bain,Mesidor) that can move inside if necessary. We did a decent job last year against the run except for a few games. Finished in the top 15 I believe.

Would be awesome if @DMoney is catalouging these observations he can't share and time stamps them for distribution later. With so many years of, "this team is different" and then it isn't, it would be quite satifsying to look at the analysis and have it be right.

I was telling a friend the other day about how I used to intercept my dad's Canesport at the mailbox. We lived in NC and had dialup internet, so it was really the only lifeline to Canes football. I distinctly remember the write up on the 2000 team that spring and you could just tell the writer thought something was different about the team. Wish I had kept that copy.

Yeah watching guys like GR15 move inside even as a skinny kid and absolutely wreck plays left and right just kinda shows the size queens get a little out of hand

I think Bain on the inside on passing downs is gonna be a huge problem for defenses

It’s the standard of what a 1 is. Our best receiver when kj was here was the TE brevin jordan

We haven't had a true WR1 since Lamar Thomas.
