UM fans who think Thomas is a bum will be in for a rude awakening. If we don't get consistent pressure in his face and allow him to scramble through wide open lanes like we did with Winston, we will be in for a LONG night. He's a very good QB when you let him set his feet and get in a rhythm.

He will look like a Heisman candidate vs our defensive gameplans
Just under the # of times the commentators deem it imperative to remind us that Logan Thomas is 6'6/250 playing the QB position.Where would you set the number on how many times Logan Thomas runs the football this Saturday?

Our defense was horrific last season, and that wasn't enough for LT to swing the game. Although we still are not elite this year. we are good enough to keep this clown from beating us. Just need Morris to not beat us as well, and we should be good.

Yep - UM football...where mediocre QBs go to play to pad their stats.
If I was a coach at VT, I'd do what FSU did...read option with thomas, dink and dunk into our soft zone, scramble for firsts and keep everything in front of you. No sense for Thomas to take risks when he has 7-10 yard dink and dunks available to him all game long. In fact, if I was VT, I'd bank on UM making a mistake on defensive zone drops.

I am expecting Morris to throw two picks against them. If he can hold it to two picks with none of them run back for TDs, I think we can still win this game.
