Where would you set the number on how many times Logan Thomas runs the football this Saturday?

Dude will perform at a heisman level vs our D and lead at least 3 70 yards + drives.

UM fans who think Thomas is a bum will be in for a rude awakening. If we don't get consistent pressure in his face and allow him to scramble through wide open lanes like we did with Winston, we will be in for a LONG night. He's a very good QB when you let him set his feet and get in a rhythm.

Yep - UM football...where mediocre QBs go to play to pad their stats.

If I was a coach at VT, I'd do what FSU did...read option with thomas, dink and dunk into our soft zone, scramble for firsts and keep everything in front of you. No sense for Thomas to take risks when he has 7-10 yard dink and dunks available to him all game long. In fact, if I was VT, I'd bank on UM making a mistake on defensive zone drops.

I think he is a bum, but a bum can still light a team up if we don't get in his face. VT let's up 1.78 sacks per game. Bama was only able to sack him once and that was in the 4th quarter.

I do agree we need to get pressure, I watched that BC game too and BC was hitting him well (without a few DL) and had 4 sacks. We need to get in his grill and hit him hard.

We will be blitzing heavy! Not much of a run threat from them and the only way he even throws a ball to his own receiver is if there is no one in his face. Our defense was terrible last year and shut down that offense. Though he did have a huge run.

Just under the # of times the commentators deem it imperative to remind us that Logan Thomas is 6'6/250 playing the QB position.

Try that drinking game, see if you don't die.

Our defense was horrific last season, and that wasn't enough for LT to swing the game. Although we still are not elite this year. we are good enough to keep this clown from beating us. Just need Morris to not beat us as well, and we should be good.

I am expecting Morris to throw two picks against them. If he can hold it to two picks with none of them run back for TDs, I think we can still win this game.

I'm with you. Just need him to get those 2 NFL passes for TD's before he goes Bipolar.

They can't do what FSU did because they don't have the players to do what FSU did. FSU has a superior OL, WR, TE and RBs.
Not to mention a top 3 QB in football.

They can try to do it but because FSU has vastly superior talent at every position on offense, it will be difficult. IMO Prince and Renner are better QBs than Thomas.
