I don’t follow any individual recruit closely but fairly confident if any other coach had this class right now (ranking and composite wise) no matter what year of their tenure this board would be freaking out.

i also get and respect Alonzos experience in talent evaluation and Mario’s ability on the trail but also it’s not like they are completely outliers and everyone else like Sabam et Al are purely blind to their magical evaluations. They are not The Steve Jobs outliers in their field even if highly qualified

One player in the top 100 composite, two players in the top 150 composite, and only 3 players in the top 500 composite… That’s all you need to know about this recruiting class. Also, Mario has never signed back to back top 10 recruiting classes. Players are not going to flip just bc we win 8-9 games this year… that’s also a big IF until proven otherwise.

Yeah, I think I voted incorrectly based on barely paying attention and the wording of the options. I read "12 or higher" as 12+ (should have been maybe 12 or better?). Either way, I believe this'll be a top 12 class.
