You just want to know so you can see my wife. And no, he starts chemo tomorrow at 9 am.

For the love of Confused Pete, what are they feeding that child? Looks terrible.

That's his concoction. Cheese grits with bacon.

Sounds a lot better than it looks!

you need some shrimp and grits in your life. looks like vomit, tastes like heaven.

I'm from Charleston, trust me, I know shrimp and grits.

Another vote for grits and shrimp!
Will Carter get to watch the game in TV or streaming tomorrow?

I'd take that over the crap the give in hospitals in Japan. Watered down rice, tofu, and some kind of pickles that remind of me of the time I used to have to change my kids' diapers. Still, hospital food is not fun. Hope Carter can have something good soon.

Day 3 down, interesting day. Chemo started 8am this morning. Today is when the real stuff starts. A Tar Heel thumping would go a long way today.

Continuing prayers , love and positive thoughts for Carter and your family ! Hang tough Cane Family ! Hugs for Carter ! #caneslovecarter #teamcarter #ugotthis

Day 4 was probably the hardest day so far. The chemo finally got to him yesterday afternoon, and into the night. The next couple of weeks are the worst of it. Also, he's going to be in for 6 to 8 weeks, not the 100 days I mentioned before. The 100 days was for something completely different.

With that said the game yesterday was a great uplift, and the banner was much appreciated, no matter the perceived agenda.

Thanks to everyone doling out support to Carter, he needs it.

More chemo today.

Glad the Canes won for him yesterday. Carter was the first person I thought of when Duke ran that 90-yard TD. He's in our daily prayers. You and your wife too.

He is a warrior and will get through it, as a parent it is gut wrenching to go through. God Bless Carter Hucks #cartertough
