Bama is loaded with 5 star safeties, while Gibson and Carter are 3 star guys. I'm not saying they're not "takes," but they're not the same kind of athlete Alabama gets

That closing speed on film doesnt lie i dont care how many stars these kids have they can run and thats what MR recruits kids that can run. Miami speed

Eddie Jackson wasnt a 5 star safety. He was a 3 star and then when he popped out of nowhere and committed to Bama he got a bump (i think) but he wasnt highly recruited.

Alot of that is coaching too. Get a guy like Gibson some good coaching and people 3 years from now will wonder why he was only a 3 star coming out.

Hahaha, don't kid yourself. Jackson was kept under wrap$ his $enior year. He was recruited by $toutland.

If "kept under wraps" is code for buddy had the worst grades this side of Jermaine Walker and barely got it..then yes you are right. But fact still remains he wasnt a 5 star. He had raw talent and was developed tremendously. Lets hope this staff has that same magic because Gibson and Carter are the goods.

Dont tell some of these guys that. According to some posters on here, Bama ONLY will look at you if you have 5 stars next to your name according to Rivals, 247, ESPN, and Scout collectively. Nothing less. Smh.
