Dont tell Gibson or Carter that we are still after Wright or ***an. I like ***an alot but im not sold that Wright is that much better then those two! Gibson has alot of Major Wright in him. And was that highlight tape sped up for him? He closes the gap in a HURRY! Great skillset for a strong safety.

Bama is loaded with 5 star safeties, while Gibson and Carter are 3 star guys. I'm not saying they're not "takes," but they're not the same kind of athlete Alabama gets

Eddie Jackson wasnt a 5 star safety. He was a 3 star and then when he popped out of nowhere and committed to Bama he got a bump (i think) but he wasnt highly recruited.

Alot of that is coaching too. Get a guy like Gibson some good coaching and people 3 years from now will wonder why he was only a 3 star coming out.

If "kept under wraps" is code for buddy had the worst grades this side of Jermaine Walker and barely got it..then yes you are right. But fact still remains he wasnt a 5 star. He had raw talent and was developed tremendously. Lets hope this staff has that same magic because Gibson and Carter are the goods.
