I do not have the expertise to judge the individual coaches, but the results lead to the conclusion the staff needs serious help. Howard said all Miami lacked was good coaching. I think the same is still true. We have enough talent for a really good staff to scare people.

I agree. No excuse for Miami not to be playing for ACC championships. I think we all agree with that. But we don't need to sound like a bunch of ******* retards making continuous statements that turns possible replacements and recruits off. It's not like we had a line up of who's who waiting to take over from AL.

I know almost everyone agrees on here that the talent we had playing was garbage and WE still went 9-4 with that. 9-4!! people. My goodness give the staff some credit. yes we got beat down in some games we shouldn't but our depth took a toll on us in the end and that FSU game was demoralizing. we didn't have the senior leadership to guide us through that or any leadership. stop complaining about coaches and look at what the players are doing.

Coaches cannot play. it is NOT the coaches fault when the players whiff and miss tackles. in the Vtech game Stacy and Artie fumbled back to back. how is that the coaches fault? in FSU game we had 2 ints but just got manhandled. how is that the coaches fault?

now DUKE and Louisville games were pure garbage and i blame coaching. but then again im sure we had a ton of missed tackles and mental errors.

WE had no run game, no passing game, bad play calling after duke went down. it was all bad. DUKE was our live and die and we died without him. i guarantee that wont happen this year.

What ****ing competent coach would want to be here? Worst fan base in the world. This is the last place I would want to coach at. The thing is, that most of the people in this board that complain probably don't even go to the games and support. So they are a double "cancer", they don't support and then they criticize in free public forums for the whole world to see what a ****ty fan base we have.

At least, for the most part, in other places, fans criticize because they are either alumni or season ticket holders, or at least go to a game or two a year. So you know things will improve. Here, some dude sitting in his mom's apartment, criticizes non stop and probably has never been to a game in his life. I got it, we suck, we can do better. Support the f'ing team and if they still suck, go find another team until things improve, that way while things potentially turn around, some of the negative energy can go away. It will do you a world of good as you won't have to put up with the bad times.

Um, it's not the sihtty fan base the world sees - it's the sihtty coaching and defense we have that the world (including many recruits) sees.

FSU, Duke, VT, Louisville were four very forgettable affairs.

FAU - sloppy offense, defense played well
UF - sloppy offense, defense forced timely turnovers
USF - looked good
Savannah - looked good
GT - close, gutty win
UNC - close, gutty win
Wake - close, gutty win
Pitt - offense good, defense bad
UVA - did enough to win on both sides

It's all about 2014 folks. Get it done in 2014 or hit the road.
