Interesting for Miami purposes I’m assuming...

It seems Orr will be linebacker coach, Lopoi will be DL coach and Charlie Strong will be "Assistant Head Coach"...Jaguars also hired Bob Sutton as the senior defensive assistant.

Urban Meyer has really assembled a veteran pro staff around him. Definitely didn't make the mistake many thought he would with a bunch of college / inexperienced hires.

Very good pick up for Vandy, Lamar Morgan is a well respected Louisiana coach, former ULL Safety, started out as a GA at Vandy for James Franklin, then was DB’s coach at Western Carolina, then was Safeties coach at Louisiana Monroe for 2 seasons on Matt Viator’s staff, then was CB’s coach at Houston for a season when Major Applewhite was HC, then has spent the last 3 years at ULL s CB’s coach on Billy Napier’s staff.

He’s a highly regarded young upcoming CB’s coach with good cache down in Louisiana, expect him to be a future LSU DB’s coach if Corey Raymond ever leaves to go to the NFL.

2005. 6 players in my class from SFL. 1 my childhood friend. Only 2 stayed, but those 2 got drafted. Louis Delmas and EJ Biggers.

hmmm, maybe he was offered the promotion to DC to remain at Colorado rather than come to UM to be DL coach as was speculated.

Yup.

He’s originally from Apopka, he's a Charlie Strong disciple, was his LB’s coach in Louisville & Texas & was his DC/LB’s coach at USF. And since Charlie Strong will be on Urban Meyer’s staff in Jacksonville he definitely recommended him to Urban to add on the staff in JAX.

Hopefully that opens a spot Christian Robinson to go to Michigan.

He is easily UF’s top recruiter.
