Former GTech Safety started out as a GA & QC coach at UGA, then was DB’s coach in Colorado for 3 years on Mel Tucker’s staff & is not joining Mel up in Mich State as their new CB’s coach.

Run game coordinator is referring to Run Defense, not offense.

And what it means, is that he as the DL coach will have final say on Run Defensive sets that the DL & LB’s will run.

UNC is expected to be hiring Larry Porter as their next RB’s coach.

He was RB’s coach for Les Miles at OK State, then followed Miles to LSU for 5 years, then was HC of Memphis for 2 years (where he was just awful, went 3-21 in 2 years), got fired from Memphis, then got hired at AZ State on Todd Graham’s staff, then got hired by Mack Brown at Texas, then spent 2 years on Larry Fedora’s staff at UNC & spent the last 3 years at Auburn as TE’s coach.

Would have liked to bring him in. Former LB...I didn't know if he's locked in as a DL Coach (I guess he is now), but would have wanted to take a flyer on him as a LB Coach....but he's a guy to watch out for now that he's in a major conference.

This thread continues to amaze me. I shouldn't be surprised but the number of guys who stay in a place for one year and use one job as a stepping stone to the next job is astounding. Maybe I've just never paid enough attention in the past but holy crap do guys move around A LOT.
