I think that’s a situation VTech should avoid given Beamer’s influence there. It’s why my firm doesn’t hire the kids of well respected lawyers in town, much less a member’s or former member’s kid. We don’t want to be a position where we have to or should fire them.

I'm not sure he would leave anyway, would be an odd situation all around.

Very famously (well, famously in the North West of England among the followers of a minority sport ), St Helens Rugby League Club hired a guy called Keiron Cunningham to be their Head Coach. He was awful. Problem was he was a legend as a player for them - they have a bloody statue of him outside the ground! - so he lasted 12 months longer than he should because nobody had the balls to sack him.

They’re probably going to win the next three games. They have Samford next week and then Missouri and FSU. Even if they lose one, either to Missouri or FSU, which isn’t very likely, I still think they keep him for one more year. They’ll just have a shake up in his coaching staff. But in any event I am enjoying their misery and if they lose any more games it’ll be all the more sweet.

You’re probably right, but losing to Megamind in Columbia is a really bad L for Mullen considering Beamer is a 1st year HC, so he basically beat Mullet with Muschamps roster lol.

If UF gets embarrassed in whatever Bowl game they get (which they most likely will), I’m inclined to believe that expedites the process.

Plus their recruiting class this year is really substandard for what they expect, I think one more bad loss will solidify his firing at the end of the year.

I want Miami to consistently win games long term - not just squeaking out wins when we have an NFL QB playing lights out.

Good point but lets also hope UF and FSU are so bad that they fire their coaches every 2-3 years. Because then at least we aren’t being out coached when we play. They are equally bad.
