"You know, there's that old Navy SEAL saying that says, 'In moments of adversity, you don't rise to the level of the occasion, you fall to the level of your training..."

Give me that little fruitcake and his rowboat 10 times outta 10 over this chump

Actually, that's an improper quote but it's one thing for the most trained dudes in the world and another for a poorly coached football team (Gorlden).

Lulz at the thought of guys like Urban and Saban training guys like Herman and Kiffin to do anything but bust when the time comes. You don't become giants of the industry by training people to challenge you. You train them to fall of the rails when the moment arrives.

RIP Tom Herman. We hardly knew ye.

Yes, but NAVY Seals are an elite fighting unit. Al Golden's teams were a pussified ladies bingo club.

I'm sure Herman learned a lot during his extensive SEAL training.

No different than Folden constantly bringing up Hurricane greatness that he could never possibly comprehend

Are coaches no longer allowed to quote military jargon unless they served?

The quote is fine. Golden's teams flopping around made it comical.
