So in that case you have to pick between a two loss pac 12 champion or a 2 loss Big 10 champion for the last spot.

OSU gets the nod. No brainer.

The committee already views Clemson in the scope of the Syracuse loss doesn’t matter. Whether you think that’s fair or not, that’s how they see it.

A 2nd Clemson loss in the ACCCG to us, if via a close game, would be like their first to the committee, so even without a conf title, Clemson with 1.5 losses (neither a blowout, 1 to a top 2 team) has a better resume than Ohio State.

Again, going by what they committee has favored this year, Clemson appears to be their darling because of their schedule, not Ohio State.

1) we win out
2) OU win out
3) Auburn win out
The 4 spot will be left to a 1 loss Bama or OSU/Wisky, maybe even Clemson since they seem to be Teflon to losing to Cuse. And if we lose we will be thrown into it. Those are the only teams I we having a shot, unless you switch UGA with Auburn.

OU has averaged 32 ppg against the top 4 defenses they faced...about the same as our Canes (against better defenses).

If Notre Dame puts a good beating on Stanford I won't be shocked if they jump Ohio State and USC.

No way... at least USC or OSU would be a two loss conference champ. ND being 2 loss is never getting in as an independent.

Notre Dame - 7th SOS, 8th SOR (Losses to Miami (10-0) and Georgia (10-1))
USC - 10th, 9th (Losses to Washington State (9-2) and Notre Dame (9-2))
OSU - 53rd, 15th (Losses to Iowa (6-5), and Oklahoma (10-1))

Tell me how ND's resume is worse than either one of them. Plus it's Notre Dame, the only team in the country with more pull than Ohio State.

I am not saying their resume is better or worse, but if OSU or USC win out, they will have an extra data point and a conference championship which the playoff committee has as another criteria.
