Since when did Alabama become the promised land for college coaches??????
I must admit this is kind of nuts. How the heck do you pull two coaches in a month that have never coached a practice at their current school? I dont know about a salary cap but the schools need to start throwing buy out clauses in the contracts of assistants is what needs to happen. Just like any thing else in this world, your only as good as the people around you and if you are constantly losing good people then it is going to hurt you sooner than later. There is obviously something going on that makes guys leave for 'Bama when they have a job they just started and it is more than likely money and not the on the books kind of money. I think that just like recruits these guys are paying side money to get coaches to go there, or properties, or cars. Not that the coaches dont have the right to greener pastures but the schools need to start protecting themselves.
I think FSU was just as surprised ..... that they had a TE coach.
Can't trust these coaches anymore
Kinda ridiculous
Alternative viewpoint....yes the SEC cheats, a lot, and that is totally unfair, BUT.....they also INVEST in their football. Lets face it, CFB is a business, and that is how Alabama and others treat it. We were not serious about football as a business until the last few years. I am glad that our view has changed.
