OT: All Time Name Team

"his dad (Abram Booty), who I still think holds records at LSU for receiver, is an NFL guy. His uncle, John David Booty played in the NFL and Josh Booty, his uncle, was in the NFL and played Major League Baseball.”
Yeah, one went to USC. Not many southern kids go out west.

Evidence Njoku. Interesting first name. Especially when you have brothers named David and Charles.

In the early 90's there was a journeymen NFL DB named Harry Colon, always made me laugh.

And a favorite all-time great name was Notre Dame LB Michael Stonebreaker. I dislike the Irish, and Stonebreaker was a washout in the NFL, but that is one great name for a LB.

I remember seeing J.C. Penny on our team.

We had a chief master sargeant in the air force whose last name was Sargeant.

Chief Master Sargeant Sargeant.

Had a math teacher in college named Richard Head.

As for General Booty, he already has a theme song.

I think it was his father, Steve Stonebreaker, cwho played for LSU and in the NFL.

Remember talking to one of JC's family members in Morgantown. From Youngstown.

Is Evangel Christian still a power in LA? They used to send guys to D-1 schools annually but I can't think of any big names to come through there recently.

My favorite name has been Baskerville Holmes. Played basketball at Univ of Memphis in the 80s. I just googled him to make sure I spelled his name right. Looks like he died at a young age.

I know this is a football board, but one of my all time favorites is the baseball player Coco Crisp. His parents must have had one helluva sense of humor!

If we are bringing baseball into this let’s not forget Cubs pitching coach, **** Pole. Now that’s a sense of humor.
